About

Lynn Hill

My name is Lynn Hill. I'm a cookbook author, food writer, member of the Guild of Food Writers, and a self-taught home baker living in the UK.  I am also the writer and recipe creator for Vintage Home Baking. You will also find me on Baking Bucket List.

Here, on Vintage Home Baking, you will discover British style recipes that are often inspired by the many cookbooks I have. This is my new project, which is helping me reconnect with my baking roots and regain my baking mojo.

I have had several recipe sites over the years, and have honed my cooking and baking skills by attending cooking and baking classes at Bettys Cookery School for more than 10 years.

Over the years, I have taken several online cooking courses with Leith’s Cookery School.

I've published two cookbooks.

  • The Clandestine Cake Club Cook Book - published Feb 2013
  • A Year of Cake - published Sept 2015

During this time, I received extensive coverage on international, national and local TV and radio, print and online publications, including:

BBC1’s The One Show. ITV’s Lorraine Show and The Alan Titchmarsh Show.  BBC Radio Woman’s Hour and on BBC Radio 4. As well as in The Times, Daily Mail and The Washington Post.
